So, you’ve bought your new outdoor canopy but you’re wondering what else can I buy for my pop up gazebo to get the best out of it?
Well, there are loads of things that are available to buy, come on…
Remember all those crazy gadgets on Dragons den, well there’s plenty you can buy for your gazebo too.
Check out this list below and a reason to buy one of these too.
Items to buy for your gazebo
If you haven’t got one of these already then consider buying one of the following items below, as you never know when you might need one.
- Carry Bag
Not every pop up gazebo comes with a carrying bag. Come on, it’s the 21st century, you’d fully expect to get a bag with your new gazebo.
Storing your canopy and all of the things that come with it in a storage box in the shed or garage is so 1980’s.
First of all, storing things in cardboard boxes is prehistoric but you’re also going to find that you’ll encounter all kinds of problems if you don’t have a decent storage bag, here’s a few.
- Makes it more difficult to transport around
- Important pieces can get lost
- Cardboard boxes may get damp
- Insects and bugs make home in the box
- Mice may nibble the canopy
- Can go mouldy
If you haven’t bought a pop up gazebo yet, then we advise you to buy one with a carry bag (preferably with wheels).
We all enjoy spending time during the summer outdoors but it comes to a time that it starts to get dark and the fun stops.
Well, buy some lights for your gazebo and you’ll be rocking into the early hours and the good thing is, is that they’re not even expensive.
There are lots of different kinds you can buy such as;
- String lights
- Hanging lights
those are just a few but there are loads more available to buy.
- Hot Tub
A nice soak whilst relaxing outside, what better feeling can there be to do it whilst having a glass of prosecco in your hands.
There are lots of different types of a hot tub and most sizes will fit perfectly underneath your pop up gazebo and therefore, it will provide a great cover when the sun is beating down or if it’s raining
Some of the manufacturers of pop up gazebos also sell hot tubs such as;
- All seasons
- Lay z Spa
and there will definitely be more over time.
- Outdoor Heaters
Outdoor heaters are a great way of keeping your patio area warm whilst sitting just outside your gazebo.
There are several safe heaters that are able to be used inside a material gazebo, whilst most are safe inside a wooden gazebo but common sense and the manufacturer’s safety advice must be used.
Anchor weights for your gazebo are more often than not provided when you purchase your new shelter.
However, if they’re not then there are many reasons why you should purchase a set (4).
Unlike many other people, we believe the main reason for buying and using gazebo weights is to protect the frame legs rather than to anchor your gazebo down.
The reason we say this is because some of the weights only wrap around the legs and therefore if you’re not using guy ropes, then it is still possible for it to lift off into the sky should there be a gust of wind.
We believe the leg weights help to protect the frame legs by preventing them from shifting side to side and potentially stop them from snapping, bending or buckling when experiencing windy conditions.
